I try to attend selected few events in a year focused on business and networking. Aerospace and defense network is a close group and it is hard to not find at least one person you know, several times.
With the changing dynamics of global trade and tensions, there has been no better time than this to understand the shifting markets, increasing demand for aerospace and defense products and services in Indo-Pacific region.
Growing educated workforce, better economic conditions and need to modernize infrastructure and military capabilities adds fuel to growing needs.
Aerospace industry is such complex woven fabric with key stakeholders from government, skilled professions, experts and business leadership, bringing them all together itself is a big task.
US government has done an incredible job in organizing this valuable event and putting together all the key resources to make it smooth and successful. Thanks to the US department team under the able leadership.
The key takeaway for me has been, to be able to connect with diplomats, specialists, executives, suppliers, buyers and experts, all under one roof and interact for 3 full days to understand country specific requirements and gain market insights, participate, express opinion and privilege to bring years of expertise to table in key discussions that shape the near and long-term trade policies.

Thanks to Diane Mooney, Michele Ko and Isabelle Dewulf representing US department of commerce from Washington state for their extended support and guidance to make this event productive for me.
I highly encourage entrepreneurs and business professionals to get in touch with the local officials for direction and support to pursue export related business.
